The Lucky Ones were kind enough to bring treats for me to share with my family. There were tons of gold coins in their pod. I felt like I hit the jackpot in Vegas! They told me that I could either spend the coins or eat them. We'll have to see if Laura's bank will accept them. Another gift which is definitely edible is a package of yummy frosted animal cookies, some of which are monkeys! The Lucky Ones want to spread their good luck to my home via the red Chinese envelopes which contained several pennies.
Karl's luck ran out when he tried to investigate my gifts. Not good for kitty, but very good for sock monkey!
The Lucky Ones were so excited to meet my big pal, Gunther. He patiently held us in his lap for a lovely group photo on the couch. From left to right: Willie B. Good, Buttons, Miles, Gunther, me, Izzy Good, Miss Mollie, Snap and Buddy.
Stay tuned for more adventures in the next couple of weeks. I will be playing tour guide and taking the Lucky Ones to many exotic locations, including the bank and the beach!

Hi, Big Monkey!
I am glad to finally be caught up on your blog! I have been reading for about an hour. You have been really busy!!
I was wondering how the Lucky Ones wound up at your house, and now I know! They are definitely the lucky ones, for getting to hang out with you. Maybe someday I'll get to come to Florida and be a lucky one, too!
Love, Noah
Noah,
Miss Grape Elizabeth Good is the alpha female of the Lucky Ones Sock Monkey Shelter. She is on Facebook too. I can send you a friend suggestion.
It would be great to see you in Florida some day!
