Sock Monkey Cat Bed

Karl is the lucky recipient of a brand new sock monkey cat bed. I bought it on ebay, but Walgreens carries this fine fellow as well. There appears to be a family resemblance between sock monkey cat bed and my giant twins, Jarvis and Simon.

Sock monkey cat bed is a good place to hang out while grooming oneself.

He's even got a red heeled bum like me, although I think he's a hybrid sock monkey / turtle.

Karl was so cozy in his new bed that he fell asleep almost immediately, or maybe it was the sweet lullaby I was singing to him.

2010 Census

Last weekend, I filled out my 2010 census. It took a while to get the form because Crystal Beach residents did not receive them in the mail. Our town has no mail delivery, so we all have P.O. boxes. The census forms can't be delivered to P.O. boxes, only street addresses. Thankfully, the census crew set up a booth in the neighborhood where we could pick them up. I want to make sure that me and my family are counted!

OK, it's time to begin. I don't think there's enough space for the 100+ sock monkeys living in my house though.

I'm going to start with myself, since I am the alpha male sock monkey of the household.

Person 1? I will just change that to Monkey 1.

Race? Well, that's easy. I'm a Socko Simian.

Monkle Sam needs everyone to fill out a census form. It was a piece of cake, and you want to make sure that you are counted. My family and I use many community resources, such as the parks, and I want to make sure they receive their fair share of funding.

Easter Day Big Catch

This morning I went to the Crystal Beach pier to test out my new fishing equipment, including a professional fighting chair plus new rod and reel.

I'll let you in on a little secret. The best bait to catch the tastiest and biggest fish is my favorite food - banana!

In no time at all, I hooked a wahoo. He fought a good fight but was no match for my Popeye forearms and top notch fishing equipment. It looks like we'll be feasting on fish for Easter dinner!
