2010 Census

Last weekend, I filled out my 2010 census. It took a while to get the form because Crystal Beach residents did not receive them in the mail. Our town has no mail delivery, so we all have P.O. boxes. The census forms can't be delivered to P.O. boxes, only street addresses. Thankfully, the census crew set up a booth in the neighborhood where we could pick them up. I want to make sure that me and my family are counted!

OK, it's time to begin. I don't think there's enough space for the 100+ sock monkeys living in my house though.

I'm going to start with myself, since I am the alpha male sock monkey of the household.

Person 1? I will just change that to Monkey 1.

Race? Well, that's easy. I'm a Socko Simian.

Monkle Sam needs everyone to fill out a census form. It was a piece of cake, and you want to make sure that you are counted. My family and I use many community resources, such as the parks, and I want to make sure they receive their fair share of funding.

Hi, Big Monkey!

How many monkeys did you finally count? We lost track around 72 here... they kept moving around.

Love, Noah

Hi Noah,

We are over 100 here. I wasn't sure whether to count my Christmas sock monkeys or not. Right now they are living at the North Pole making next season's toys.
